With more than twenty years of experience on Commercial, Corporate and Bankruptcy Law, Mr. Giraldo is also known for his work as Commercial Attorney of the Trade Proceedings Delegation at Colombia´s Incorporation Supervisory Council (Superintendencia de Sociedades for its name in Spanish) and his trajectory as legal advisor for several financial institutions and manufacturing companies. Moreover, he relies on a solid professional experience on commercial lawsuits and splits its legal practice as lawyer representing parties in arbitration processes and controversies submitted to the ordinary jurisdiction.
Juan Pablo is an Attorney and Specialist on Commercial Law from Universidad Javeriana and also holds a degree on Tax Law from Universidad del Rosario and studies on Alternative Dispute Resolution at Toronto University.
Lecturer at Universidad de la Sabana Law School and at FORUM Postgraduate Institute. Frequent speaker as professor of Commercial and Bankruptcy Law at the Bogotá Chamber of Commerce continuing education courses. Director of the Arbitration Centre for the Colombian Architecture Society. Member of the Colombian Commercial Bar Association and also member of the Ibero-American Institute for Bankruptcy Law.
