RICARDO ESCUDERO TORRES

A graduate from the Universidad Católica de Colombia Law School with a degree in Labor Law and Social Security from the Universidad Javeriana.

He has taken part in complementary studies and assisted to seminars regarding the administration and management of Human Resources.

During his legal experience that extends for over 15 years he has worked as an independent lawyer in the area of labor law and social security issues, has acted as secretary in several Arbitration Tribunals; it is Associate Judge of the Labor Room of the Superior Tribunal Court of Bogota and since the year 2000 has been part of the List of Arbitrators that is issued by the Labor Chamber of the Colombian Supreme Court of Justice.

He has worked as a professor in the Law School of the Universidad de los Andes in the field of Labor Procedures Law and is a member of the Continuous Education Program of the Law School of the Universidad Javeriana.

His mother tongue is Spanish and also has domain of the English language.

     

 

JUAN PABLO GIRALDO PUERTA

A graduate from the Law School of the Universidad Javeriana with degrees in Commercial Law from this same university and in Tax Law from the Universidad del Rosario.

Has also attended studies of Alternative Dispute Resolution in the University of Toronto – Canada.

He has an experience of over 15 years in the areas of commercial and corporate law, having worked in the Colombian Superintendence for Commercial Societies as a lawyer in the Mercantile Procedures Area and later on as an advisor to the Financial Institutions and Industrial Areas.

He has a broad experience in the management of lawsuits regarding commercial issues and has also taken part in important arbitration procedures and allegations before the ordinary jurisdiction.

He is an acting professor of the Universidad de la Sabana Law School and of the Graduate Studies Institute – FORUM of this university. Is a regular speaker in the seminars of Commercial Law given by the Bogotá Chamber of Commerce, acts as the Director of the Arbitrage, Conciliation and Friendly Agreements of the Colombian Society of Architects, and holds a seat at the School of Commercial Lawyers and in the Iberoamerican Institute for Concursal Law.

His mother tongue is Spanish and also has domain of the English and Italian language.

     

 

ELIAS ANDRES AMAYA OREJARENA

A graduate from the Universidad de la Sabana Law School with a degree in Commercial Law from this university. Obtained a Master´s Degree in Corporate Law from the Universidad de Navarra – Spain and is a candidate for a Doctoral Degree from this spanish university.

Has taken part in several courses of corporate and mercantile law in institutions such as the Bogotá Chamber of Commerce, the Universidad Javeriana of Bogotá, Boston University and the IESI Business School of Madrid, Spain where he assisted the Business Management module.

His professional activities have been focused mainly in the areas of Corporate, Real Estate and Aeronautic Law, working as an attorney in companies such as OIKOS S.A. and AeroRepública S.A.

His mother tongue is Spanish and also has domain of the English language.

     

 

JAVIER FRANCISCO GUTIERREZ TAPIAS

Law degree from the Pontificia Universidad Javeriana and specialized in environmental law at the University College of Our Lady of the Rosary.

He has taught at the Pontificia Universidad Javeriana in the area of private law schools and law administration.

During his more than twenty years of practice has been dedicated to advising on Environmental Law and Urban, as well as process management liability in your area, recovery and disciplinary portfolio of financial and real sectors, with their as a consultant to major companies like IBM Colombia, Carrefour, BCH and Banco Cafetero.

     
   

JORGE ALBERTO GARCIA CALUME

A graduate with Honors from the University of La Gran Colombia, Specialist in Administrative Law at the University College of Our Lady of the Rosary and Master of Laws admiring the Military University. He holds several graduate and attended numerous seminars in constitutional and administrative law.

He has taught undergraduate and graduate of the University La Gran Colombia, Nueva Granada Military University and a Masters in Constitutional Law at theUniversity of La Sabana, lecturer and speaker at several seminars.

In over twenty years of experience has served as outside counsel to numerous public and private entities, focusing on issues of government procurement and litigation inadministrative and constitutional law. It was legal director of the Ministry of Interior and Justice, Deputy Minister of Mines and Energy (e) and Secretary General of the same portfolio. Became part of the commission that drafted the new Code of Administrative Procedure and Administrative.
